Управление файлами классов Java с помощью ASM 4 — часть первая: Hello World!

Что такое ASM : ASM — это библиотека Java с открытым исходным кодом для манипулирования байтовым кодом Java. Так что он имеет ту же цель, что и Apache BCEL. Так как в этой статье предполагается, что читатель обладает некоторыми знаниями о формате файлов классов Java, желательно прочитать об этом здесь. Так чем же он отличается от BCEL? Во-первых, это позволяет использовать управляемый событиями способ манипулирования байтовым кодом, исключая необходимость загружать весь класс в память только для того, чтобы сделать небольшое дополнение. Во-вторых, у него нет отдельного класса для каждой отдельной инструкции. Вместо этого он напрямую обрабатывает коды операций и имеет только константы, представляющие каждый из них. Это значительно уменьшает размер библиотеки. Итак, ASM просто легче и умнее. Тем не менее, ASM также имеет механизм для работы с файлами классов путем загрузки всего класса в память на тот случай, если операция слишком сложна для обработки через обработку событий.

Текущая стабильная версия ASM — 3.3. Однако версия 4.0 RC2 вышла. Итак, я собираюсь обсудить эту версию здесь.

Обработка на основе событий против обработки в памяти : ASM поддерживает как управляемую событиями, так и обработку в памяти. Обработка событий, управляемая событиями, легка, но немного ограничивает. С другой стороны, обработка памяти более гибкая и простая в использовании, но это более тяжелый вес. Внутренний процессор памяти использует процессор, управляемый событиями, так же, как анализатор XML DOM внутри использует синтаксический анализатор SAX XML.

Вышеприведенная программа не делает ничего, кроме печати, когда происходит событие. В это время мы посещаем класс java.lang.String. Обратите внимание, что в классе Java есть порядок, в котором вещи появляются. Например, методы всегда появляются после поля. События также происходят в том же порядке. Сам код очень прост и не требует много объяснений. Сначала мы расширяем класс ClassVisitor и переопределяем необходимые методы. Затем мы устанавливаем ClassReader и вызываем его метод accept, передавая объект ClassVisitor в качестве параметра.

Новое в версии 4 : до версии 3.3 ClassVisitor был интерфейсом, поэтому нам пришлось реализовать все методы. Чтобы избавить разработчика от этого беспорядка, был ClassAdapter, в котором не было операционных реализаций всех методов, которые разработчик мог бы расширить. В версии 4 ClassVisitor стал классом, а ClassAdapter больше не существует.

Обратите внимание, что некоторые методы посетителя возвращают объекты других методов. Методы этих объектов Visitor вызываются при прохождении объекта определенного типа. В следующем примере показано, как использовать MethodVisitor для пошагового выполнения кода метода.

Создание класса: прежде чем обсуждать детали создания класса, я расскажу о действительно классной вещи, доступной в ASM. Это называется ASMifier. Это класс, который печатает код, необходимый для генерации заданного класса. В следующем примере показано, как использовать ASMifier. The code shows how to create most of the class artifacts. I would now explain parts of the code. However, I will use a simpler class for demonstration and also like to add appropriate comments. The reason why I discussed the above is that in case you get stuck about how to create a particular artifact, you can simply compile a class having it and then generate code using ASMifier to see how it is created. I will use the following code as an example. The class ClassCreationDemoMaker creates a class that would have been the result of compiling the class ClassCreationDemo.

The fundamental principle of creating a class is to use an object of ClassWriter, which is a ClassVisitor, and then call different visit methods in it in proper order. In this case we have only created one field and three methods. It is mandatory to create the constructor. The code is very simple to understand. Note that after calling the visitMethod method in the ClassWriter, we have used the MethodWriter returned from it to write the code in the method. Here also note that we have manually allocated the maximum stack size for each method. We can alternatively use ClassWriter.COMPUTE_MAXS flag in the ClassWriter constructor to avoid doing this.
